Wellbeing Lab

“I enjoyed the journey with wellbeing very much, it made me decide to have time for myself no matter what tasks I have. Also it changed my mindset towards money, relationships, and dealing with hardships.”

(Feedback from a former participant of the Wellbeing module)

What is this module all about?

“'I am my best ally'. Being well at work and life is possible, wellbeing is like a muscle, it needs to be trained in order to be strong, the more you give to yourself the more you give to other people.”

In its second iteration, the Wellbeing Lab is a bi-weekly online learning and unlearning journey for social change leaders to re-connect with themselves and with what they need to be well and resilient as leaders. It is series of 10 2- hour practice and topical reflection sessions on the relationship between wellbeing and leadership for social change.

We will connect in a safe space and come together as a learning and support community of peers. The conversations are aimed to support Ashoka Fellows and their team members, Ashoka Staff and Young Changemakers to deepen their prioritization and commitment for wellbeing, healing and inner work.

Each session will be co-facilitated with a wellness expert in the field or an Ashoka Fellow with personal and field experience in wellbeing to help us deepen our wellbeing & leadership journeys together. Some sessions are designed to go deeper into specific topics that require more time (e.g. Healing Trauma & Collective Healing).

This series is best experienced as a journey to support Ashoka Fellows and other Change Leaders in deepening their exploration and awareness of wellbeing needs, inner work and resilience as social change leaders -with a peer community. This is when it has most impact.

Please apply anyway even if you can not make all sessions - as joining the sessions that you can join will still be of great value

“The success of an intervention depends on the interior condition of the intervenor.”
